We try to get people to join the site, post on the blogs, etc... It is just difficult to get people to stay. :-/
Anyway, FWLUG is having a gameday this Saturday and the next scheduled Ubuntu DFW Meeting is for the 18th of May at Java and Cha in Plano (http://tinyurl.com/4sycap).
Here there are RC images available for Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. The preferred method is torrent, though jigdo if you can't torrent. HTTP should only be a last resort.
