Politics not as usual

I know this is an Ubuntu blog space, but with the election having just passed I wanted to post a bit from an up and coming party that listens to and in fact is the people - The Modern Whig Party. If anyone is interested, here is a bit about them:

Thursday, October 30 - Ubuntu 8.10 release party, 6:30pm

http://AustinLug.org has a meeting scheduled for the same day as the Ubuntu 8.10 release, so we are going to host a party.  Free pizza and Ubuntu 8.10 presentations.  We will also have copies of the downloads to spreadk out.

Congratulations Brandon!

Brandon is a now and official Ubuntu member!  Welcome and thanks for all your hard work.  Now for the next steps, getting our Texas Loco organized and approved.
